Postcard
Not a great photo but the only one I have of this early postcard made on a side of a clementine crate, a yogurt top, a candy wrapper, and some photos from a magazine.

Annunciation

I made a few changes to this piece before I sold it recently but this is a pretty good representation. The silver piece in the middle was a bread pan from the thrift store.

"Next Year's Blessings"

I made this cabinet for my daughter. It has had several different "centers" but this is the best.

For Ellen

Ok. All of this posting is tiring me out. I made this last summer for my Detroit show. Sentimental-ish but I love it!

For Margie

I didn't take a very good photo of this and I did adjust the color on the photo but you still can get an idea of what it looks like. I had several pieces of sawed off boards that I used in a series of little pieces inspired by Griggs, the street I grew up on.

Finding the Way Home

Just sold this smaller piece at FRANK gallery. I really liked it so I'm happy a friend bought it. I might get to see it again.

Vigil

I just took this down from a show at the coffe shop, Joe Van Gogh, formerly known as Cup a Joe.

The World Book

It's been a while since I posted any pictures. I've gotten lazy about getting professional photos done. I settle for my own iphone shots and they really aren't very good....are they? This week I'm taking some in to the photographer. I'll post those soon. I started this piece about 2 years ago and just couldn't get going with it so I set it aside. The other night I was with some people talking about Hildegard of Bingen and looking at some of the visionary art she created in the 12th century. Pretty amazing. She had one that was shaped like an egg and described her ideas about cosmology. I got some inspiration and this is what happened.
