I sent this off to a young man in Wisconsin for his first Communion from his Aunt here in North Carolina. Didn't have time to have the photographer get a picture of it.

Not a great picture but I had to take one quick before I sent this off to some friends in Seattle.

I'll be showing a piece in the Scrapel Hill exhibit at University Mall in Chapel Hill starting April 17th. Here's a preview.

"IN THE GARDEN"

I just finished this piece today. It is made from an old cabinet door and alot of lids from bottles, tins, jars, and cans, cloth, belts, paper, and paint. Everything except the nails and glue are recycled. Some one described this as a color explosion.

I'm just about finished with this chair. I found it at the dump, it was pretty beat up (see before picture). I used alot of bottle caps, tins and nails.

I came across this picture today and thought it was interesting to see how I started out and what the finished piece looked like. I don't have a plan that I am aware of and I like that I can take something out or add something pretty much anywhere along the line.
